I woke up to a beautiful sunshiny mornng.  There have been a lot of those mornings lately, and now I can really enjoy them.

I was thinking about all the comments of love and support I've received lately, and then it dawned on me how many of you are, or have gone through much worse (and probably with a lot less complaining!  And god bless those who take care of us and see us through so many difficulties.

Last night Jeannie, Donald and the girls played a game involving cards, memory, charades, etc. and it kept me entertained - a nice family evening.

  1. If there is anybody more deserving of our love and support, I don't know who it would be. So happy to know that your life is lookin' up!!! Enjoy!

  2. Isn't it nice to have someone take care of your every need when you're recuperating? Nurse Ratchet did that for me, and I still can't get over it.

  4. So glad you can enjoy family and recover at the same time! Our Texas weather is not warm enough for me right now,so I am staying inside and going on virtual trips to warmer areas. I am needing more walking time so maybe the polar air recedes soon.Stay spunky and eat lots of healthy food to help you heal.

  8. Complaining? Was that what it was? I never noticedd. I just thought how hard it must be to go through something like this when you live alone. So happy you are still with family. I'm sure you are enjoying it and can make the most of those lovely grand children while it lasts. Soon you will want to go home again but meantime have some fun now that you are feeling more alive.

    Blessings

  10. I am so glad you are by your family and getting good care. Just imagine if you were out on the road and had to have this done somewhere in a strange town all alone!

Hope tomorrow is an even better day!

  12. Good sunshiny weather really helps, doesn't it. Are you able to sit outside and get the warmth of it, too?

I'll bet the grand kids are loving having you there, so close. Keep getting better and you'll be out in the woods again before you know it. :)

  13. You seem to have such a youthful spirit, and that is good. I really admire you for that. Sometimes our old bodies want to take that spirit away, but don't let it.
After reading about your having to go back to the hospital and staying with family for a while it got me to thinking about how hard it would have been if you would have had a dog during all this. It brings to mind Al and Kelly of the Bayfield Bunch and their quest to get another dog after little Cora passed. Pheebs was well worth the long wait they had to endure, and they ended up being the perfect match to one another. Take good care of yourself and heal completely. There's a loving dog out there somewhere waiting for you to go get it, after you are back to 100% of course. It may not be a bigger dog, a midsize dog gives no less love because it's a bit smaller, and it's usually easier to manage on car and camping trips. The devotion they give will make up for any loss of size.
It sure is great to have you posting again, I missed you and your great forever young outlook on life!
