Saturday Soccer

This is Saturday so it must be soccer.
And in hopes I'm on a roll here, I will try to download a picture or two of the T-Ball game a couple of days ago.
I really don't know what to do about blogging. I don't like the new version even though it looks like it loads pictures more reliably and faster. I tried to back up the blog so I could import it into another format, but was unable to figure out how to do it. I am still looking at other web programs, but they all seem to have their learning curves, and freewebs, which I used for my Appalachian Trail journal, either won't let me create a second blog or I just can't figure it out. I don't find anything challenging about dealing with new looks and new programs. I've recently cut back on computer usage and would like to keep it that way. So I might just continue posting from time to time on Blogger if I can't find another program, but I'm not sure about anything at this point.

  2. Gypsy - I am so far behind on blog reading. But am so glad you made it safe and sound. I agree - rural NY is just incredibly beautiful. And with everything in bloom I bet it's even more so. Have a great time with the kids and grands. I remember when Todd played t-ball. The kids couldn't even figure out which way to run the bases. It was hysterical.

  3. Brings back such fun memories of my little boy ... sniff.. he had to go and grow up!

He was three when he began soccer.. HAHaaaaa... spent more time looking at butterflies flitting by or well, anything... little ol bitty legs

    sigh

Well? I noticed Blogger has changed the format ... but I'm not experiencing any problems... just published a post so... so far so good.

I'm with you .. The only thing I'm sure about is that I'm not sure about anything...

  4. I imagine the kids at Google will keep pushing the technology envelope to the point where many of us older memory challenged computer folks will end up too frustrated to carry on any further. I do expect that will happen to my blog eventually. Fully expect them to come out with some kind of 'You Tube' type blogging format & attempt to do away with the tried & true written word. That for sure will end my blogging days.......

  5. Bet they love having you cheering for them on the sidelines.

I'm with Al. When they get everything so that it's all public like facebook and limited like tweets or totally utube like, then I'll have to go to sending out updates by email to those who still give a care what I'm up to. But probably they won't allow long emails either. Wonder when they will stop teaching kids to write?

  7. Busy Grandkidlets make for a busy, busy Grandma. I don't know where you find the energy, but I wish I could bottle a little bit for me right now. :) You're amazing!

I don't see anything new with my blogger. The only reason I no longer post everyday like I used to is because of all the big stuff going with us. But when I do get a chance [& the energy, heehee] I don't have a problem as it posts as it always has. You know my only complaint is with my picture posting [I can't anymore] and the fact I can't fix it [without paying.]

Now do I have to tell you to relax Grandma? Glad you are having such a great time and just love that you take the time to share with us. It is great to live vicariously. :D

  9. Blog when you can and when it feels good to do so. You shouldn't have to be frustrated and irritated to do something you don't want to be doing. But we are all here for you when you do post and are enjoying your journey!

(ps sometimes it matters which browser you are using to create your blog... i.e. Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer etc.)
