To all the Canadian readers. Enjoy your turkey with all the trimmings, and family and friends.
I'm going to be busy today with trying to clean the rest of my carpet. I did about 1/3 of the living area yesterday (or more like 1/4) and after drying it looks ok. Not all the spots came out, but at least I know the rug is fairly clean for now. I may have it steam cleaned in a month or so and see what they can do with the stubborn remnants of Lassen volcanic soil. The total area is so small (compared to a regular house or apartment), so it's difficult moving things around. I have some dining chairs lined up in the bedroom, and the kitchen floor is filled to capacity. Yesterday I wiped the wood surfaces with wood polish, but now I notice the little spaces around the windows that have collected Lassen dirt as well. It will never end. I have never been an obsessive house cleaner, and this is not my idea of a good time!
I knew it was cold last night when the heat came on several times. I have the setting at the lowest possible, which is 50F, I believe. The sun is shining this morning so it has probably warmed up already. I'm off soon to find a place to leave my recycling - I've been carrying it around since I left California. I can't believe that RV parks don't have recycling bins, but believe it or not they don't, even in Oregon. By now I have a good collection of Miller bottles and cans, and will probably see a smirk or a raised eyebrow when I take them to be turned in. For a nickel a bottle and can they can smirk all they want.
I've procrastinated long enough this morning - back to work for me.

Thanks for the Thanksgiving wishes, Gypsy! Hope you make lots of money on those 'recyclables' too!
