Korea - Part 2

I thought I would post a link to the 2nd part of my trip to Korea.  If you've read it before you can just skip it.

I have one more post (which should have been the first to be read) and covers our journey to Tokyo with a two day stopover there before continuing on to Seoul.

This morning I finally got my hair cut.  It was looking so bad and I was probably a few weeks later than I should have been to have it cut.

Jeannie is driving me to my follow-up visit with the cardiologist tomorrow, and I hope I don't have to continue seeing her.  I'm seeing 3 different doctors now and hope I can drop one or more in the future - maybe just see the regular doctor for periodic blood tests.  Things probably won't be that simple - once they get you in their clutches . . .

The weather is gorgeous today and should remain that way for several days.  It is in the 70's and after 2 really warm days I'm loving this.  I know it won't happen, but if only climate change meant that Sacramento was changing from a hot dry heat in the summer to a more moderate temperature!  Dream on, gypsy!

Here it is already, the middle of the week!  Sometimes I feel like I'm on a speeding train, and I'm not quite ready to get to my final destination!

  1. We had a great day here too, but like you said it won't last. Can't believe how fast time is passing and I still don't know what I want to do this summer.

    1. Like me, you probably want to go camping, but it is almost more trouble getting ready than it's worth. I've just about given up. I think it would be different if I had a dog. I'm glad to hear you are having good weather too. Ours is almost unbelievable for May.

  2. Oh how funny and so true ......... Your last comment about ' being on a speeding
train '. I heartily agree with you! It seems as if it's Monday then it's Friday.
Maybe it's only for over 65 age group. Lol

    1. I definitely think it applies mostly to the over 65, and even more so, to the over 70 group!

  3. Tom, thanks for the explanation on the gates in Korea. I didn't realize what it means, but I always thought "Nam de mun" is such a beautiful-sounding word.

  4. 70's are my absolute favorite temperature. I try to follow them around if I can but in our situation it's a bit hard. I know just what you mean by the speeding train.
