I just arrived in the outskirts of Toledo and am sitting in the worst motel I have stayed in this trip. The room isn't so bad but the bathroom is awful. I wouldn't even step into that tub, so I hope I can find a good place tomorrow night so I can shower. Most places I've stopped at have been very good.
I had a wonderful time with family in Milwaukee and Chicago, and took some pictures I will post. Since I'm watching my battery usage very carefully, I'll do a complete update with photos when I get to NY, which I hope will be on Friday afternoon. I am really tired of traveling.

Luckily, you have been staying ahead of all that bad tornado weather.
ReplyDeleteI'm not surprised you're getting tired of traveling. I hope you find a good place for tomorrow night. If you were traveling in nice, warm weather, you would have been able to use the tent a lot, and that would have been nice. Maybe next time.

ReplyDeleteI've stayed in some doozies myself so I know what you mean about not using the tub. You have really covered some miles and like Al said - sure glad you haven't been near the bad weather.

ReplyDeleteI have learned to look at the available room before checking into any hotel/motel. If the room does not please my wife, it is usually a very uncomfortable time.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about a nasty bath, but that happens a lot of time. Not sure I would trust the bedclothes either. You are wearing me out just talking about how far you have traveled.... :)
