  2. May God give you peace during this time of the loss of your best friend. Gypsy waited to get home so you could give her the loving farewell that she surely deserved. My heart cries along with yours...

  4. SO sorry to hear that..My dogs were both sick last week with diarrhea! ONE had bloody diarrhea. I thought it was the water at the campground I was in, and cut my trip short to bring them home...but maybe it was the dog food? I fed them Pedigree canned. Curious to know if your vet was concerned with what she ate...
My dogs are young and able to recover...but it sure scared me for a couple of days...Im very sorry about your dog. My condolences to you.

  5. I checked your blog several times since your post about taking her to the Vet. She is at peace now.

Please don't cry too much.....she would not want that.

She was elderly and it was her time.

    Please rest.

  13. When we loose a pet it seems as though a little bit of us passes on with that friend... I'm sure that a lot of your heart went with Lady, but surely there will be days ahead when you can remember her and all she meant to you.... For now understand that all of Loyce and my strength is behind you....

  14. So sorry you lost Lady. I know what you are going through. I had to let my dog go after trying everything to keep her healthy but sometimes that just does not work. Keep remembering the good times, that will make you smile and dry the tears. Be thinking of you.

  17. I read you every day, but don't think I have commented before. I am so sorry to hear about Lady. I had to make the hard decision to give up my sweet Shavano in November after 12 and half years. Dogs who are loved as your Lady was are very lucky dogs. You gave her a great life.

  18. I am so very sorry. My heart aches for you but rejoices for Lady because now she is free to run and play and not hurt any longer. She was loved beyond words and that is all that matters.

  19. Oh, Gypsy, I'm so very sorry. Having gone through it with the four-legged love of my life, my heart aches for you. It's a very sad time; but Lady suffers no more. How kind of you to help ease her into a place of no pain, no anxiety, and no sadness.

It seems like so many of our beloved pets have passed along with friends and acquaintances--it's that time time of life, I guess, but it doesn't make it easy.

My thoughts are with you, and I hope whether you believe in a hereafter or not that you pretend and believe there really is a rainbow bridge. RIP Lady.
