I'm back from the doctor and from Costco pharmacy. I have bronchitis and started on the Z-Pack just now, so I will start to feel better soon. The doctor said that what the xray showed wasn't consistent with Valley Fever - it "didn't have the look" of a fungal infection. That's all I wanted to know, and now I can forget about it. I certainly would never go back to Quest Labs for a blood test again - I still haven't heard the results.
I was worried about the bridge traffic on Sunrise Blvd just before turning to where I live, but although it was starting to get heavy I beat the worst of it. Dog has been walked and I'm debating on whether to nap before I eat or vice versa.
All the gas stations I passed today show diesel to be about $4.50 a gallon. You can imagine what that is doing to the cost of products that must be shipped to the stores. It's all the more reason to buy local, and maybe the cost of an online purchase isn't that much cheaper when you figure in the shipping & handling.
I hope everyone has a nice weekend.

That's great news. The not knowing is always the worst. Relax. You'll be better real quick on the z-pak.
ReplyDeleteThat is good news and now you know that recovery will come quickly.
ReplyDeleteI am glad that that's all it is even though it's not fun at all either. Hope you get to pack up and get out of there soon. You now have something to look forward to: A trip East!!
ReplyDeleteThank goodness. Hard to imagine saying that for bronchitis but the z pack works so well. Glad you're going to feeling better really soon.
ReplyDeleteIn the heat we're having right now - I vote for nap.
Being sick sucks! Glad you have a cure. :)
ReplyDeleteYou'll be back to normal very soon, I am sure.
ReplyDeleteAlways good to go through that process of elimination when it comes to unknown illness's. Hopefully the new meds will have you out & about in no time & you can get on with things.
ReplyDeleteGlad you found out what it was, and hope you have a very speedy recovery now. I think you need to eat and then sleep... :)
ReplyDeleteSure am happy it hear you don't have Valley Fever. Of course any illness is nasty. But you have good meds now and should be on your way soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you have a diagnosis. No matter how bad I feel, knowing what it is, and that it's treatable is always a relief. Take it easy and feel better soon. :)
