I am really weary by now, and anxious to get moved out of here. Then I will have about two weeks before I see the eye surgeon, and hopefully leave the next day. I still don't have 100% improvement in my eye, but my daughter reminded me that I still have one more stitch to be removed. That should make it better, and maybe he can write me a prescription for glasses, at least for reading. The ones I'm using now probably cause more problems than they help.
It was raining this morning so the chipped paint on the bumper doesn't stand out as much as it does when dry. It doesn't bother me, but I guess I should see if I can get someone to touch it up rather than repaint the entire bumper. Or not.
The salesman from Enterprise called and told me they could give me more for my truck if I was still interested. Well I don't like being jerked around so I said I wasn't. It is stressful enough to sell a vehicle and buy another one. It is stressful enough to pack up everything to vacate an apartment, as well as try to plan what I can take on a cross country trip and how I'm going to manage it. I sure can't, or don't want to try to do it all within 2-1/2 weeks, so I'll just go ahead with driving the truck to NY and see what I can do there.

I won't do business with that kind of salesman either!Bumper doesn't look that bad.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it is just me, but what does that little chip have to do with the performance of the truck? I would think they would be interested in motor, transmission, that type of things. I wouldn't worry about that little chip, your truck looks damned good for being that old. Ours is 5 years old and doesn't look near that good.
