Another quick post

I thought I'd write a quick few words.

I returned the heart monitor today after wearing the dumb thing for 48 hours.  Now I'm all itchy where the electrodes were placed.

Which reminds me of something I read recently:

Being old is like being a dog.  The high points of the day are scratching, peeing, and waiting for the mailman.

Have a good remainder of the week, and I'll be back soon.

  1. Glad you got the test out of the way. Hope the after effects go away soon.

    1. I do too. I hope I never have to do that again. The unit was so bulky, had miles of wires attached to it and I had to slip it tko the waistband of my jeans. It stuck out like a sore thumb.

  2. I have lost so many comments into never never land. And they were so wonderful. So hoping this one posts. I wore one of those stupid things in January but I hope your results turn out as good as mine.

    1. I sure hope so too. I am so sick of doctors, medical procedures, and all of that stuff. I'm fairly healthy for my age - I don't even take any prescription meds - and I'd just like to age gracefully! Haha, actually, I'm going down kicking and screaming!

    1. I haven't heard anything from the cardiologist, so I am hoping all is well. I know I have heart issues, but just don't want to have to be tested in all sorts of ways, take medications, see specialists, etc. I sure can't be graceful about that, lol.

  4. That part where you said "being old like being a dog" got a big laugh out of me. I know exactly how you feel.
