All morning I have heard noisy jet planes flying over my house at low altitude and wondered what was happening. A quick search on the internet answered my question.
As you might be aware, there are a lot of wildfires burning in California right now. Lack of rain for so long and the hot dry weather makes for a tinderbox, so it seems that planes are coming in from all areas to help drop retardant on the flames.
Now I feel guilty that I was so upset about the noise, but my attitude adjustment results in welcoming all the fire fighting planes that we can get! Bring on the noise!
This is going to be a long, hot summer!
And in parts of Europe they are drowning and losing life and homes. 👹😩😢
ReplyDeleteThere seems to be no middle ground - too much or not enough!
DeleteDid you see the awfull fooding in Flaggstaff, AZ first it drought now its floods Yes it will be a very long nasty summer. Today our temps were only 92 degrees but the humidity was 98%
ReplyDeleteYes, isn't it terrible. Floods after a drought are awful for the people living through them. It seems the earth is going through a shake-up, and mankind with all its inventions can't do a thing about it!
DeleteBut at least we are now able to fly to the edge of the sky ay $ 250,000.00 a pop.

It's all about priorities, isn't it!
