Short update

I finally got internet hooked up at my new place.  I will try to post some photos soon - the back yard is HUGE, and Rocky loves it.  I'm sure he misses the dog park though.

I'll post as soon as I can get the time to sit down and relax.  Moving isn't as easy as it's always been for me - I must have passed the "magic age"!

      I think my work has just begun. I put the "easy" stuff away but what I have left is more difficult to find a place for!

      Thanks, Al. This has definitely been the hardest move I ever made, and in 2000 I moved to Ireland for 3 years, so you can imagine how I'm feeling if this one seems like the worst. I think it's age creeping up.

    I envy you. I sure wouldn't have the energy to move. . . I have trouble just moving out of my rocker/recliner.

      I bought a new couch with reclining seats on both ends. I've also ordered a matching rocker recliner, so I'm going to be comfortable when the work is done.

    Nice to hear from you. So happy the move is over and now to unload your stuff. Just take it easy it will get done. I'm thinking Rocky is loving his new yard and the freedom to run.

      Rocky loves the yard! It isn't as steep as I thought - just a long slope down to the back of the yard, but nothing I can't handle. I bought 3 tomato plants I hope to get set in the planter tomorrow. There are four good sized planter boxes that haven't been used for a while and my son is going to use the roto-tiller on them so I can start gardening. I have nice space in front of the house - not a large space - but I think I can make it pretty and welcoming. Pictures will be forthcoming and I hope to post them soon.
