The air is thick with the haze and smell of smoke. I'm not sure how close we are to the actual fires, but the minute I open the door I can smell it, and don't want Rocky or me to be in it.
I had to make a quick visit to the dentist this morning and definitely don't like going out. Rocky has an appointment to get his nails clipped again tomorrow afternoon, so I hope all goes well and that we aren't further threatened by smoke. My heart goes out to the brave firefighters who deal with these conditions. I have family who live in or close to the worst hit areas.
I may post again today if the situation changes.

To bad the wind doesn't push the Fire against itself. It would be out in minutes.
ReplyDeleteBe Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
I was wondering if you were near the fires. We are finally seeing some of the smoke from your fires. But not too bad yet. Stay inside as much as possible in the a/c.
ReplyDeleteEven up here the News show your fires. I hope they can get under control soon. Keep safe and the same for your family.
ReplyDeleteI saw the fires on the news tonight...I hate to think of the Homes lost, but also the poor wildlife. Canada has several burning in British Columbia. Hope the smoke doesn't get any closer to you.
ReplyDeleteI just opened the door to let the dog out and the smoke was much worse than earlier today. Rocky wouldn't even stay out.
DeleteWe have had smoke here but this evening it has rained and rained and I hope it hits the fires northwest of us and put out those fires. Hopefully you will get some heavey rains there I know how much they are needed.
ReplyDeleteI saw the fires in the news this morning and they were worst than the images they featured yesterday. They have a lot of fires going at the same time that is why I asked you yesterday if they were close to you. Sorry to hear that the smoke certainly is. Please stay inside if you can.
