I Made It!

The weekly treatments are over and done with now.  Today I was there only 3 hours, and then I took Jeannie out for lunch.  I asked the nurses how long I needed to wait before I could have a beer - they laughed and said this afternoon would be fine!  So we went to a restaurant for lunch and each had a small draft!  I don't know when a beer has tasted so good.

Thanks again to all for your encouragement and positive thoughts sent my way.  I'll probably have another week of erratic sleep patterns, but hope I'm on my way to total recovery.

    1. I'd sure love to run wild again, but not sure if my age would allow it!

  8. Glad that is all over with and that the results come back to your liking. I bet that beer tasted good, I haven't had taste of beer for 30 years or so.

    1. It did taste good. I don't drink it all that often, but just just knowing I couldn't was beginning to bug me.

    1. Oh, I will sure drink to that as well! I'm still feeling the tiring effects of the last treatment, but they should be over with by the end of the week. Evidently these treatments don't work all at once, but I will improve over a period of several months. As long as I'm improving .....
