I just dropped her off at the kennel at 3:00, and two hours later I'm thinking I should be taking her for a walk or feeding her. By the time I pick her up on Monday morning I'll be savoring my freedom and hate to give it up. I just hope she behaves herself.
I'm not sure who Jim missed most while he was in the hospital - me or the girls. Isn't it amazing how they worm their way into our lives and hearts.
ReplyDeleteIt is good that you are missing her. Sometimes you have to give up a little but look at all the companionship and love the little furry ones give us.
ReplyDeleteI miss my long gone Labs often. I am determined to not have any more pet, but I sometimes am tempted. Then I remember cold and early morning walks or hours of cleaning up after them.
ReplyDeleteTreasure her while you have her.
I know how you feel, we just dropped Halley off for a few days, as we head to a winnie rally.
ReplyDeleteI've never left Katie - except when I was in the hospital, but she was with my son's family then and probably having a ball. I didn't worry about her. It sure was nice to see her again, though. :) I'm sure Lady will have a nice time with the other dogs nearby. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteOf course she'll behave, she's a lady!
