I would have asked if I could find someone to ask. I started parking in the back of parking lots when I had my 5th wheel and Ford F350 truck. That truck always took up a lot of room, so I always tried to find a spot in the back, then realized there was an added benefit to walking a little bit further.Gypsyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18052445200220681513noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-785311472371282139.post-47985775009141443702016-04-01T17:04:27.974-04:002016-04-01T17:04:27.974-04:00Of course, I always have to park far away from the...Of course, I always have to park far away from the entrance to any store, since I'm driving a motor home. Just more steps to add to my total for the day. :) When I can't find something in the pharmacy at Wal-Mart, I go to one of the windows and ask. They always know, and if they can they will walk me over and show me. I almost always have excellent service at Wal-Mart, with only a few exceptions. :)Barbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16516591720277269204noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-785311472371282139.post-61172019989811135762016-04-01T16:48:40.198-04:002016-04-01T16:48:40.198-04:00The older vets always tug at my heartstrings; I pr...The older vets always tug at my heartstrings; I probably have given a donation to a few old bums on the street as well, but I feel sorry for the old bums! When I moved to CA I fell in love with red zin, merlot, white Riesling, etc., and the costs here are much lower if you buy California wines. I like the white riesling the best but I always drink more of it if I have it on hand.

I'm so glad to hear of someone else like me who parks waaaay back from the front of a store. It's good exercise, you're less likely to get bumbed by another car, and you don't have to worry if you're parked slightly crooked.

Hope your ankle is doing much better. My arm seems to be getting infected where I had the run-in with the oleander bush, and I don't have anything on hand to treat it with. Pasta has about 40g of carbs per service, and I don't like it well enough to eat it often although I'm trying to use up what I have on hand. I also quit eating regular bread and those kinds of products. It was difficult at first, but now I'm fine with it. I crave white bread, croissants, danish, etc., but just avoid them.

I'd much prefer a craft beer while cooking, but I can make the wine last a lot longer. None worked better than the others, and none got rid of weeds & grass permanently. My next door neighbor said he used vinegar, salt, and a tsp of dishwashing liquid - I guess it might make the solution stick to the weeds long enough to affect them.
