She works in a community that provides housing and assistance in general living skills to adults with disabilities such as autism, etc. It is a shame to be so far from family, but her uncle Mike (my oldest son) is a few hours' drive away. I think she will have the overall management of several houses of adult women. However, I am a cat lover :)

I was wondering why you had not mentioned Ara lately as I know you all did a lot of things together after she moved back to Sacramento. While I know you and Jeannie are sad to see her go, I am glad she finally has her dream job and in the city she has always loved. Kudos to you both for being so supportive.MsBelindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09035993834877022676noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-785311472371282139.post-60074315195415161732017-11-10T21:31:17.005-05:002017-11-10T21:31:17.005-05:00Now that's a clever squirrel. I tried to fix the situation in my human being sort of way; I put shucked corn in a box for the squirrels on one side of my front yard, and had the bird feeder for the birds on the other side. Darned if the birds didn't start going for the corn while the squirrels enjoyed the bird seed. It's quite possible that squirrels are smarter than people.Gypsyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18052445200220681513noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-785311472371282139.post-37457745027096276572017-11-10T21:26:09.407-05:002017-11-10T21:26:09.407-05:00I had a pet squirrel for 8.5 years, and he confide...I had a pet squirrel for 8.5 years, and he confided in me that there was a rumor amongst squirrels that their feeders were constantly be attacked and emptied by birds!

Virtual hugs,

Judie judilynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13640947046484366376noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-785311472371282139.post-20984702170089259022017-11-10T20:42:11.826-05:002017-11-10T20:42:11.826-05:00As upset as I used to get with them, I have to adm...As upset as I used to get with them, I have to admit they are intelligent and resourceful, and very interesting to watch.Gypsyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18052445200220681513noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-785311472371282139.post-70785920232326667412017-11-10T18:57:48.058-05:002017-11-10T18:57:48.058-05:00When I lived, camped, and hunted in western Pennsy...When I lived, camped, and hunted in western Pennsylvania, I saw a lot of black squirrels, grey squirrels, red squirrels, and fox squirrels. I have a lot of squirrels here and, yes, they raid my bird feeder, but they are the regular grey squirrels. They keep me busy refilling that feeder.
