Areas of the apple that are yellow and in shade can have lavender as shadow. Hope that helps. I once saw a dog falling out of a truck bed. He cried terribly. The driver picked him up and drove off. I hope he took him to a vet. These women all display their work at different venues, many of them are hanging in the local city hall, community buildings, etc. They also sell their work in many cases. Maybe it's a local Sacramento, or maybe a California thing, to keep the front of the painting free from signatures, etc. I'm just guessing at this, but they all agreed I shouldn't sign it. For now I'll just sign and date them on the back.Gypsyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18052445200220681513noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-785311472371282139.post-70050143851464471162016-10-07T11:19:48.800-04:002016-10-07T11:19:48.800-04:00I do need to keep practicing. When it's nearly done (doesn't take long because just about everything is pre-cooked, I thicken some of the broth with flour and then add it back into to the pot. I don't make the broth really thick, just want it a bit thicker than it is normally. That's it. No additional salt, no spices; just throw in what you have or what you like. The Better Than Bullion is salty enough you don't need additional salt. I buy the bullion in Chicken and Beef flavors, and I've seen Vegetable flavor at Costco once in a while. It is a paste in a jar that you refrigerate after opening. I could't cook if I didn't shop at Costco! In an RV though, you would have a hard time storing the larger sizes and amounts of everything they sell.Gypsyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18052445200220681513noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-785311472371282139.post-60132133944217864992016-10-07T11:07:58.003-04:002016-10-07T11:07:58.003-04:00Thank you. Do you know I woke up in the middle of the night thinking the instructor told me that violet is on the opposite side of the color wheel from yellow. I checked my color wheel this morning first thing, and it's true. But if I do the entire canvas (a small one at that) in a shade of violet first, then I'll have to paint a background of something else to cover it up or tone it down. Nothing is easy, is it.Gypsyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18052445200220681513noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-785311472371282139.post-36615129562408414142016-10-07T10:32:38.877-04:002016-10-07T10:32:38.877-04:00Nice hair cut, wish my hair would do that. I could only draw if the instructor was right there telling me exactly what to do and doing half of it. Where are the shadows she would say. I have no idea. I think this is great. I'd be very pleased with myself if I had drawn it and I didn't even notice the signature until you mentioned it. I was only looking at the apples so your painting is not too small for a signature. What kind of soup was your delicious bowl. I think I'll make some today since temperatures here aren't getting out of the 60's with rain.Sherryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00328866430156879312noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-785311472371282139.post-2747041104826897652016-10-07T02:04:12.877-04:002016-10-07T02:04:12.877-04:00Love your haircut!

That's probably not a good idea at that, but in city traffic, total of 6 lane major road, it's unbelievable and I can't imagine someone who loves their animal would take such a chance with them.Gypsyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18052445200220681513noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-785311472371282139.post-62477691385669810412016-10-06T23:54:28.998-04:002016-10-06T23:54:28.998-04:00I think it's fantastic.
